Statement from the ministers on Ukraine

As Churches Together in Potters Bar we are appalled by the situation unfolding in Ukraine and we pray for a peaceful and swift resolution to the war.
Churches within our town are working with their own denominations to work out how we can support those caught up in the war and help to settle refugees within our town.
Individual churches are collecting names of those who have offered to host through the government scheme and contact details for those who can help in other ways.
Those who come to stay in our town will need more than just accommodation – they will need meals, transport, befriending, counselling, leisure activities and a safe space to meet together. As individual churches we are collecting this information and sharing it with the others in the town to ensure that we can support those who will be with us and those who are hosting them.
